About Chapter Seven Chapter Seven invites children to slow down and notice how nature changes, just as we do. Through the gentle imagery of falling leaves, children explore how something can change form while still remaining part of a larger story. This chapter creates space for children to reflect on memories, listen to the stories of others, and recognize that relationships and meaningful experiences can continue to live within us. Shared storytelling supports connection and belonging, while a quiet, sensory-based activity encourages children to become aware of what they see, hear, feel, and notice in the natural world. An additional Flute Leaf Dance Movement Activity invites children to explore change through gentle movement. As the flute sounds, children can imagine themselves as leaves -floating, turning, drifting, and finding their own way - offering a playful, embodied way to experience movement, release, and transformation. Circle Discussion Prompts: Children are gently guided through the rhythm of Notice, Pause, Connect, Reflect, with opportunities to listen, move, share, and create meaning from their own experiences.
